Advice

1/
Happiness is like perfume, you can't pour on others without getting a few drops on yourself .

2/
Love has its own time, season and own reasons! You can't ask it to stay, you can only embrace it as it comes and be glad that for a moment in your life it was yours!

3/
True love doesn't have a happy ending.
That's because true love doesn't have an ending.
A heart truly in love never loses hope but always believes in the promise of love, no matter how long the time and how far the distance.

4/
As long as we have memories, yesterday remains, as long as we have hope, tomorrow awaits.
As long as we have friendship, each day is never a waste.

5/
Friends are like stars. You can't always see them, but you know they are there.
Have great hopes and dare to go all out for them.
Have great dreams and dare to live them.
Have tremendous expectations and believe in them.

You are the Star...

When clouds of doubts shrouded light,
Leaving me starved in a cold dark void
When the warmth and light nearest my life
Failed to reach me, leaving me in strife

When the darkness befell on all my thoughts,
Collapsing all my dreams, leaving naught
When the self within me cries with pain,
With turmoils of emotion so disdain.......

You are the Star that showed me light
Helped me to reach and stick to my might
You are the shine that shone me the path
When in uncertainty, I remained hurt.

You are the glow that guided my soul,
Showed me to control my starved self,
And you lighted a light within me,
Shown me the inner light within myself

And though the brightness of day's light
Fades your kind light in the blue sky,
And the dark clouds of the night's sky
Blocks your twinkles reaching on me...

i know you're there with your beautiful shine
And your light and warmth is in this heart
As a love preserved with patience utmost
As a passion within guarded foremost.

And on the day my soul freely rise,
And as your charming glow shines down
I and you, half-way in sky we will meet,
To play tango to music of our own beat.

Ends and Means

Egypt pyramids & a drawing showing egyptian slaves

Does the end justify the means?

Thousands of Slaves under ruthless slavery built the Pyramids. But nobody complains about the end product. But the means, is it justifiable? Can that feat be achieved by any other means? Maybe not. But does it justify the oppression the builders were subjected to in building the pyramids?

And more importantly how many of us care to remember the means by which the feat was achieved when we look in awe at one of the wonders of the world. So, if we tend to conveniently forget very wrong means in which it is achieved, does it mean it justify the means?

Hiroshima Bomb and bones of some who died by atomic blast

In more recent history, in August of 1945, United States dropped nuclear Atomic bombs on cities Hiroshima nadn Nagasaki of Japan ending a almost 6 year old World War, World War II. The bomb killed more than quarter of million people and the nuclear radiation deformed and gave thousands cancer and disabilities for many years after post-attact. Yet, it ended the long war. So, does the end justify the means?

***

So, in the end, if end justifies the means, does it mean if intention is good, it is okay to use any means to achieve that which we intended? But then rises another question. What if, wrong means are used and the "beautiful intention" we intended never ets achieved?

What if the slaves were oppressed, whipped, tortured and forced and still the Pyramids bricks kept falling ,never finishing the World wonder. What would we have said, if the atomic bombs were dropped and thousands killed and somehow the World War II never ended?

Surely, vision of a beautiful end doesn't give one right to use wrong means to achieve it. But does it means, the end doesnt justify the means, or does it?

Love Blooms

.....And my heart blossomed and fell in Love with You!

River

The currents in this river never cease. The calmness on surface doesn't reflect the turbulence underneath. The reflection that you see in the stillness of this water is your own. This river doesn't give away anything and what you see is what you seek. Get a canoe and have a ride or plunge a dive and have a swim. You may enjoy the moment and cherish it too. But in the end you'll leave. And this water shall flow in grace between its banks. This river is destined to flows in its fated path.

But sometimes in storms this river overflows. When certain rain rains on and on, this river can hold no more. The undercurrents in this water changes intense, making turmoil. And with unknown force raging wave after wave crash on the floodgates breaking all dams. And this river overflows, its water spilling out...

And its water spills out, flooding my eyes. It trickles down as tears till all sobs cease and storm pass. This river is my self within. And the waters in it are raving emotions flowing within.

Soul Whispers

Thou art the flower that fragranced my soul,
For thee my heart has bent, and craves thy scent.

Thou shall dwell always in the garden of joy,
For only happiness, glee and such befits thee.

Thou hadst blossomed withstanding harshest of winds,
Making thee strong and beautiful ever more.

I, Yes I, do find thy beauty an attractive charm
For beneath thy silky petals is a kind beautiful soul.

I pray thou remain pure, free of temptous and perfidious,
For their venom tarnishes thee staining thee with sins.

And if a man comes to smell thy scent and pluck thee,
I pray he take thee with love, will forever nurture thee

Yet, thou art my aim in this Wandering life,
And on thy silky velvet petals I wish to kiss.

For Thou art the flower that fragranced my soul,
Thou art the Rose that bloomed a love in this heart

And, Thou art my soulmate
Gently Whispers my soul.

Seasons come and go, but...

For a very special someone..out there somewhere..but always in my heart somehow!

Tere siwa na kisi ka banunga - (2)
Khune jigar se yeh likh ke main dunga
Yeh waada, yeh waada raha dilruba, yeh waada raha dilruba

Kadamon mein tere jannat hai meri
Hoke rahungi hamesha main teri
Yeh waada, yeh waada raha saajana, yeh waada raha saajana

Aayenge mausam -2 Jaayenge mausam
Humako sada saath paayenge mausam
Koyi saaj badale koyi raag badale
Na badalegi apani muhabbat ki sargam
Har saans meri tere liye hain - (2)
Yeh waada raha saajana, yeh waada raha saajana
Tere siwa na kisi ka banunga
Khune jigar se yeh likh ke main dunga
Yeh waada, yeh waada raha dilruba, yeh waada raha dilruba

Aawaaz deke -2 jo roke zamaana
Zamaane ki baaton mein hargiz na aana
Aankhon mein aankhein baahon mein baahein
Daalein huye saath chalate hi jaana
Tera pyaar hi toh meri zindagi hai - (2)
Yeh waada raha dilruba, yeh waada raha dilruba

Kadamon mein tere jannat hai meri
Hoke rahungi hamesha main teri
Yeh waada, yeh waada raha saajana, yeh waada raha saajana
Saajana, yeh waada raha saajana...

Durood Taj

Durood Taj is a beautiful Durood ( Invocation said to send prayers and blessing on Prophet Mohamed [p.b.u.h]) popular mainly amongst Sufi muslims. I am moved by the beautiful praise and poetry in this durood/salawaath.

 Meaning :

O Allah, send blessings and Peace upon our Master and Patron Muhammad
The Owner of the Crown and the Ascent (in Mi'raj) and the Buraq (the steed thar transported Prophet in Mi'raj) and the Standard,
The Repeller of Affliction and Disease and Drought and Illness and Pain.
His name is written on high, served and engraved in the Tablet and the Pen,
The Leader of All, Arabs and non-Arabs,
Whose body is sanctified, fragrant, and pure,
The Sun of Brightness, the Full Moon in Darkness, The Cave of Refuge for Mortals, the Lamp That Dispels the Night
The Foremost One in the Highest Fields, the Light of Guidance,
The Best-Natured One, The Intercessor of Nations, The Owner of Munificence and Generosity
Allah is his Protector, Gabriel is his servant. The Buraq is his mount ,
The Ascent is his voyage. The Lote-Tree of the Furthermost Boundary is his station,
Two Bow-Lengths or Nearer is his desire,
His desire is his goal, and he has found his goal,
The Master of the Messengers, the Seal of the Prophets,
The intercessor of sinners, the friend of the strangers,
The Mercy for the Worlds,
The rest of those who burn with love, the goal of those who yearn,
The sun of knowers, the lamp of travellers, The light of Those Brought Near,
The friend of the poor and destitute,
The master of Humans and Jinn,
The Prophet of the Two Sanctuaries,
The Imam of the Two Qiblas,
Our Means in the Two Abodes,
The Owner of Qaba Qawsayn (proximity to Truth),
The Beloved of the Lord of the Two Easts and the Two Wests,
The grandfather of al-Hasan and al-Husayn,
Our patron and the patron of Humans and Jinn:
Abu al-Qasim MUHAMMAD Son of `Abd Allah,
A light from the light of Allah.
O you who yearn for the light of his beauty,
Send blessings and utmost greetings of peace
Upon him and upon his Family.

Ameen.

Wisdom from Imam Shafi'ee

We find fault with the world, while the faults lie in our own selves.
The world is not at fault; except that we are full of flaws.

We make fun of the world for no reason,
But if others spoke about us, we were no better than be mocked at.

A wolf does not eat the flesh of another of its kind,
But we eat the flesh of each other knowingly

We have worn the sheep’s clothing to deceive the people;
But woe unto the wild animal if it strays by us!

We have reduced religion to mere show and formalities.
And thus, we deceive those who look at us.

— Imam Shaf’i  (may Allah have mercy on him),  Diwan ash-ShafiĆ½i p.376

Hollowness

passing on time's escalator to the end?

Hollowness.
The emptiness of being.
Dissociated from the existence around.
Its as if on-looking a movie as scenes unfold.
I am a distant by-stander on time's escalator
A lonely passenger passing with the time.

Peoples move. Things happens.
Traffics jams and traffics pass.
But things seem so distant from this heart,
A craving unmet stupifying sense and soul,
An emotionless starer at life's cross-roads,
A lonely passenger passing with the time.

Silence.
The hollowness without words.
Thats the answer for how I feel.
Its better than a undesired tune,
The desired melody and voice is unheard
A lonely passenger passing with the time.

Chaos

downward spiral in a chaotic world

Life is a chaos. We live in a chaotic world. Some things may seem they can be determined. Somethings may happen as one expects. But Nothing is predictable. Nothing is certain. We live in uncertainty, confusion and disorder. It is inherent of nature for things to degenerate. Gold tarnish. Iron rust. Woods decay. Stone wear off and crack.

It is law of this world that with no conscious effort, things will move from a higher level to a lower level of existence, or fall apart. This is true for anything. This is true for Everything.  Because its inherent of this life to push us, push everything into a chaos.

In other words, in a world of chaos we swim against tide for improvement or development. This world, this life will takes every chance it gets and opportunity to crumble us down to the dust that we are. It will diminish you in the core of chaos with lower dignity that the dust even, if it can!

To overcome this we need will power. That's where the inner struggle begins. That's why the Faith matters. To zap you with the energy to feed the will-power.
