Butterfly Effect

Do you know the power a butterfly holds?

A flap of a butterfly wings - will it have any significance? Can it change lives of many? Can it change the world? Think!

In a valid Scientific theory, The Chaos Theory, the butterfly effect is the sensitive dependence on initial conditions, in which a small change at one place in a deterministic nonlinear system can result in large differences in a later state.

In other words, a small change now, in here can cause a large change later (ultimately) in somewhere. For example, something as small as the Flap of a Butterfly’s Wings in Brazil can set off a Tornado in Texas!! The flapping wing represents a small change in the initial condition of the system (atmosphere), which causes a chain of events leading to large-scale phenomena. Had the butterfly not flapped its wings, the trajectory of the system ( the sequence of events that follow) might have been vastly different.

Thus, everything is linked. Everything is related. Nothing is isolated. Everything that happens matters. Even the smallest tiniest things.A seemingly small action ultimately produces a large outcome.

Seeds or coconut washed ashore centuries back on a barren shore creates vegetation and islands we live now. But neither the seed nor the tide that brought it knows of the sequence of events that it triggered and the mightiness of the civilization it had started!

A grain of sand seeping inside an oyster few years back ultimately gives rise to the beautiful pearl. Yet neither the sand-grain nor the oyster know the sequence of events that they started and the preciousness of the thing they created!

A deed you had done a decade back may have resonating consequences today and later!- Just as a flap of a butterfly wings then creating a hurricane now. But neither the butterfly nor the air around it knows the events they have triggered and how big an event it may create!!

If you change even the smallest of life's details, you completely change its outcome. If you change slightestly your routines of things, ultimately it may lead to a large change much later in your life. And you'll probably know it when that large change occurs!

So just like butterflies, just keep fluttering and flapping your wings. And be wise, be considerate and keep flapping your wings for good! Who knows, if it can produce a hurricane, it too can produce a spring of joy with comforting cool breezes. One day.
