Cosmic Consciousness

How conscious are you? How much aware are you of your surroundings, the environment and the macrocosm you are in? Are you for certain sure that the truths you believe are truths and the facts you take for granted are indefutable facts? Do you know how you exist and why you exist?

Let's tease a bit on your intelligence and play a bit with your awareness!

Imagine a measuring ruler on a corner of a table. Imagine an ant moving on the ruler from the 1cm mark to the 2cm mark in a straight line. Now somebody took the ruler moved it in zig-zag motions and placed the ruler on the center of table, all the while the ant is still moving in a straight line from 1cm mark to 2cm mark on the ruler. But with respect to the corner of the table, what is the pattern or path of movement of the ant? The ants movement is in a straight line, but the ant moved NOT in a straight line!!

Now imagine a cargo ship moving from one end of antlantic ocean to the other in a straight line. Somebody observing from earth will definitely see it moving in a straight line. But when point of reference is from a place near to Earth on space, one can see the earth's movement on its own axis, while the ship is moving in the earth. So what is the path of the ship from his reference?

Let's expand your horizons.What happens if one observe it from the Sun? He can see Earth orbiting around the Sun, while rotating in its own axis, while the minute ship is moving!!

Expand your conciousness and awareness of this to another level. What will be the path of the ship if its observered from the center of Milky Way (galactic center) around which our Sun rotates, and around the sun the earth rotates, while rotating in its axis..And to this the fact that the galaxies ( including Milkyway and all stars and planets in it) are moving at a speed of thousands of kilometers per hour away from the center of Universe ( point of Big Bang)!! Now, to get path of our little teeny tiny ship, one will need a sophisticated complex mathematical geometrical analysis!!.. So can we say the ship moves in a straight line? What is the truth? Does it depend on our consciousness? on your awareness? It surely depends On the frame/point of observation we are in? In other words, it depends on the frame of consciousness we are in.

So Will the truth of someone be an uncomprehendable explanation for another? Can you explain the larger truth to aless conscious who is absolutely convinced of his convictions? Or like the Man with knowledge (Al-khidr) said to Moses, maybe you just have to say,"You can't bear with me"

And all this while, we are talking about expanding our conscious self in spatial dimensions. What happens if one can expand his consciousness in the temporal dimension - time ? Can he look at the Grand Timeline, from beginning of time to the end of time, laid before him like a foot-ruler. Can he see into it and see the events unfolding at a particular time? Is this the Lauh-ul-Mahfuz ( Book of Decree/Tablet of Events) that Angels recite in the Heavens?

And what about consciousness in other planes, such as spiritual? Where does your thoughts come from? Where is your mind housed in? Where is your soul roaming? What happens when one expands his consciousness in this spiritual dimensions? Is it how the sages gets devoid of bodily pain?

One thing is for certain. It is through more consciousness you understand more the meaning of this life. And through knowing more and being aware of more, you are prepared to face anything, with patience. Yet, the more we get aware, the more we get conscious, we become aware of how little we really know!!
